SPINNER WEDDING RING – “Diamonds are the best friends of the girls,” says proverb. These photo frames are durable and expensive. And Valentine’s Day is probably a new diamond engagement ring for your Facebook or Twitter account.
Many couples are dependent on tires that care for their deepest feelings about each other and the world. Label ring is more than selling price: family members, friends, and guests tell you that you are planning a wedding, you love, are mature. This is probably the most expensive and most important item we have many, but why do we place our emotional feelings on lifeless topics?
SPINNER WEDDING RING
Conversion of objects into valuables is not new. People tell stories because it’s important to them for centuries. Think about your bear, blankets, practical furniture and favorite waste at home. These products can be made of cotton, wood or ordinary clay, but our feelings make them valuable. They are very much afraid of the market price.
Not just a ring
It’s a story I know very well. More than ten years ago, when my husband and I were talking about marriage, I asked my mother whether she was willing to distinguish her from fingering. Saddl had to work and “windows” were small (I think the word “mass”).
It was clear he was not ready for it. And finally, I never met my training. Margaret lived in an unhappy marriage: she left her husband in 1925 and resigned in 1941 (the reason was adultery). How can this ring guarantee a person’s happiness?
Two years after my son was born my mother gave me this ring without much money. We share both of us. I lost my gloves three weeks later. I supported our house and asked about this. I cried that I lied to my mother how much I used.
Six months later my little boy came to my room and waved a small, clear object he found (or rather fled). It was a ring. I hurt again. I called my mother to admit it. The ring has become a new story about people who have disappeared and found a mother who moved from mother to daughter for three generations.
In the eighteenth century, dozens of writers chose a new type of fiction directed at common objects: coins, banknotes, shoes, cars, dolls. These stories encourage things by giving them their own voice. Modern literary scholars call it “telling objects” or “stories”, their mainstream lifelong protagonists. Think of Toy Story, Georgia.
My research in the 18th century clothing consisted of Western novels, bells, shoes and slippers. The stories of Georgian objects are full of scandalous gossip about people’s weaknesses.
Going home is a common feature in these circulatory information, and the owners of truth (usually different rooms) want to hide from the world. Then these stories became so popular that critics of the book complained of floods in the literary market.
At the end of the eighteenth century, the Genre was focused on children and their wealth. Kids could read articles on adventure pads, life spells and mice, bumper adventures, and silver buttons. Lynn Festa, a teacher and author of the English language, wrote wonderfully how these stories taught Georgian children how to handle their activities: good landowners produce good Britons. So it’s not hard to see how these stories open the way for books like Velveteen Rabbit and Paddington Bear.
History of Things
Last year I did a school project to teach children to do these stories. In fact, fourth and fifth grade students made their own versions of stories about secret boxes, tea bags, dolls, shoes, and of course plenty of pots that inspired Georgia’s collection of furniture. From Fairfax House in York.
I thought about teaching children, but their brilliant stories convinced us of the constant desire to communicate with the objects around us and our imagination to transform living creatures into living and communicative beings.
Valentine’s Day is too easy to get bored when couples report their deepest feelings through objects or ever-growing eggs. But it is important to know that we all have at least one element that is important to us, elegant and evil as it is. So the stories we tell of things remind us of how we love and love others.
